China said yes - our request to adopt Makenna Zhen-Leigh Benner has been approved!!!

The next batch of paperwork is packed in a FedEx envelope and ready to go out in the mail tomorrow. We were told to expect travel in 2.5-3 months!
Soon, baby girl, Mommy & Daddy are coming to bring you home!!

Congratulations! She is so cute! Praising the Lord with you for answering your prayers. Just last night my son's devotional was based on James 5:16 "The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results." Thank you Lord for your Faithfulness!

ReplyDeleteJust saw your RA announcement on AW's group. Came over hoping you had posted pics! She is PRECIOUS! It is so rare to see a smile in these referral pics. You're blessed to get that!!! Hope the rest of the paper chase goes as quickly as possible.
ReplyDeleteWe have adopted 4 children from China through AWAA including two who were almost 3 and just turned 5. I have to tell you the adoption of our newly turned 5YO son back in 2010 was one of the smoothest in terms of attachment and adjustment. A lot to do with personality as he is easy-going by nature, but the age can be a great plus as they know enough to understand more and yet are still so young and in need of a forever family! I never tire of seeing referral and RA announcements. Many congrats!
